I am hesitantly supportive of this project but I am concerned having a dedicated News show will mean you’ll have nothing to talk about on Night Owls except movies. Everyone would kill themselves
I was in an uber this weekend and the driver had NPR on and they were discussing all the recent incidents of black guys sliming their entire families (Baton Rouge and Justin Fairfax) and I could barely keep it in where they just brought “black mental health in the face of racism” up.
This was great! Better for car rides too. Less adjusting the volume due to varying degrees of audio quality. Also it's nice to have a dedicated news segment from you. You're gifted at speaking, and this is more focused so you can flex more. Additionally Night Owls delves into pop culture and Twitter drama a lot which I love, but not having to pause and explain to my wife the more lore intensive takes on why Moldovan is talking about his HIV positive bull is nice too lmao
Please continue doing these. My news diet is just Night Owls, Restoring Order, Highly Respected, and Charles Schwab podcasts lol so I have an appetite for more content lol
Had an EHC moment and left Twitter a few yrs ago bc I was wasting a lot of time and it was a mixed bag of incredible and retarded content. I’d already found a couple good guys to listen to for all my opinions
However, if you start dropping recorded pods to Substack, I’m willing to pay $7.99 per month
